The October topic will be NoSQL. We are meeting on the 11th floor of Geekdom. Pizza and drinks are provided, compliments of Geekdom. Parking is free in the Weston Centre garage on Soledad.

- MongoDB - Micah Yoder, RackspaceMicah says - "MongoDB is arguably the most popular and full-featured NoSQL database. This talk will demonstrate how to store and query data and go through its other features, such as sharding and replica sets. We will also give some pointers for deciding whether your next web application should use MongoDB or a more traditional SQL database."
We are looking for 1 more volunteer to give a 10-15 minute review of any NoSQL database they are familiar with - Neo4J, Redis, CouchDB.
